Romania - Tasks

 

The Work Group has 3 coordinators, Dr. Anca Buzoianu (UMF Cluj), Dr. Radu Câmpian (UMF Cluj) and Dr. Răzvan M. Cherecheş (CPH). Each Work Group works independently from the structure of Cluj Management and Planning Group, coordinators having the responsibility of setting up the agenda for the activities, organize debates or any other type of events considered of use for their Work Group and relevant partners.

The main task was to develop an evidence based proposal for the Cluj-Napoca Health Strategy as part of the Cluj-Napoca Strategy 2014-2020. From a methodology stand point, the Work Group had to include in their final proposal:

(1) Preliminary analyses and needs assessment;
(2) Environmental analyses and an EST and SWOT analysis, or similar;
(3) Identification of the major strategic issues in the public health sector (not more than 5), linking them to the issues than have a long term effect on public policies;
(4) Definition of sectorial strategies as a response to the major strategic issues.
