The Ministry and other public entities are responsible to coordinate activities in the field of physical activity in Finland.

The following national key stakeholders, that have actions and activities in the field of physical activity and physical activity policies, have been identified in Finland*: 

(1) public institutions that are responsible for policy, including policy development, implementation and evaluation related to physical activity and (2) NGOs that have their vision, mission or goals connected to policy related to physical activity:
